QUEUING

Since the venue is 30 minutes from my house, I arrived at around 7:30 am.

When I arrived at the venue, there was already a long line. If I remember correctly, there were many people for VIP already at the venue. They were waiting for the official lineup.

At that time, queueing at the venue early wasn’t allowed. So everyone had to wait nearby the music venue and the train station.

(For the people that don’t know the exact location of the venue, 4 minutes walking distance of the train/bus station Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA)

I went to the person in charge of the numbering for regular tickets. She gave me the number 83. A friend of mine was coming in later, so I got a plus one number for her.

More people joined the queue, and around 11 am, security moved all the queues to their reserved places.

During the day, people kept coming in, made some new friends, when to the shops nearby. Stans also went to the Mediamarkt (across from the venue), to get some albums. A random dance play event was held next to the venue.

I made some new friends who were behind me in the queue, and I even stood with them during the show.

After a long time queuing, we were finally able to go inside.

The Head of Security (thankfully) followed the self-made numbering, and everyone could peacefully go inside. When security checked the ticket, they told us not to run inside the venue.

LET’S GET READY FOR THE SHOW

THE SHOW

When entered into the venue, you are welcomed with Blackpink’s music and Blinks’ excitement.

It was also amazing to see the amount of BI-ping-bongs (lightsticks). The whole venue was colored pink because of it.

The Golden circle area was literally half a circle. The regular ticket holders could stand barricade at the concert.

I was able to get the second row. And even with my short height, I was able to see EVERYTHING.

The girls were AMAZING! Eventho Blackpink doesn’t have many songs at that time, they made a full concert with their songs, covers, and interaction time.

My favorite moment of the concert was Lisa & Jisoo talking a bit of Dutch and Lisa her solo dance performance.

You can guess who my bias is hihi

The band was A MA ZING, the cinematics and just the whole show was so much fun. I really enjoyed it.

If you are a Blackpink stan, I truly recommend going to their concert!

Did you also go to the concert? Let me know your experience and what is your fav song of them. I would love to read all about it.

Much love
